This blog is pretty straight-forward in it’s purpose: covering diverse subjects, I intend to offer an opportunity for my readers to better understand the Christian world-view in light of contemporary topics of interest. It is my conviction that Christianity is an intellectual faith, and followers of Christ should devote themselves to the lifelong discipline of Biblical study. Romans 10:17 states that “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ.” Therefore, since Scripture is the source of faith, daily, intentional & focused study of the Bible provides the benefit of strengthened faith. Topics & discussions on this blog are designed to stimulate Biblical study & personal growth, and are the expressed view of their author.

You’ll notice two topical areas on the upper right portion of this page:

1. Topical Sermon Studies, which are devotional thoughts, additional research material that I could not include in the message or answers to questions from some of my sermons. Generally, I post the devotional materials on Wednesday evening for the coming sermon. You can select the Topical Sermon Studies link to go to those specific posts.

2. Spiritual Topics, which covers a very diverse range of topics. In this section, you’ll find posts on issues in the news, pop culture, or thoughts from my personal Bible study. You can select the Spiritual Topics link to the right to find posts from this category.
